At Burden Swart & Botha Inc. we simplify complex legal matters. We specialise in general litigation, debt collection, commercial law, conveyancing, road accident fund claims, administration of deceased estates, family matters and sequestrations. Leonora Swart

Leonora Swart completed her BProc degree in 1992 at the University of Pretoria. In 1993, she commenced her articles at Andrew Burden Attorneys. She was admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer in 1995 and continued at the firm as a Professional Assistant. She became a partner at Andrew Burden Attorneys in 1997. Leonora established the Conveyancing Department at the firm and through her dedication, hard work and managerial skills built the conveyancing department into an exceptional department contributing immensely to the success of Burden Swart & Botha Inc.

Soekie Riekert-Botha

Soekie Riekert-Botha completed her BCom Law in 1998. In 2000, she completed her LLB and advanced certificate in Child Law and in 2002 was admitted as an attorney after completing her articles at Andrew Burden Attorneys. In 2003 she was admitted as a conveyancer and notary public. Her commitment and skill saw her becoming a partner in 2007. Soekie heads the Collection Department, which boasts an exceptionally high success rate with the recovery of debt. Due to her excellent managerial skills, the department has expanded since she joined as a Partner. She also focuses on general litigation as well as divorce and maintenance matters, owing to her advance qualification in child law. As a notary she attends to all the notarial contracts, including ante-nuptial contracts. Soekie together with Leonora Swart, manage the Deceased Estate Department, which has expanded over the past few years due to the exceptional speed with which deceased estates are successfully wound up.

Vincent Rozenkrantz

Vincent Rozenkrantz completed his LLB degree in 2014 at The University of Pretoria. In 2014 he commenced his articles at PJ Faurie Attorneys. He was admitted as an Attorney in February 2017 and continued at the firm practicing in Road Accident Fund third party claims and general litigation. In October 2017 he joined Burden Swart & Botha Attorneys and focuses on cost consulting i.e. taxations and drawing up of cost accounts.

Lloyd Wegerle

Lloyd Wegerle completed his BComm Law in 2014 and his LLB in 2016 at the University of Pretoria. He was admitted as an attorney in October 2018 after completion of his articles under Andrew Burden at Burden Swart and Botha Attorneys. He is an innovative, efficient and highly driven attorney who forms part of the dynamic litigation team and specialises in debt collections, contractual disputes and commercial litigation. Lloyd is an avid golfer, squash- and snooker player.

Alicia Marié Stieger

Alicia Marié Stieger completed her BA in Law in 2014 at the University of Pretoria, majoring in Criminology and Psychology. Whilst serving her articles she obtained her LLB Degree from the University of South Africa in 2017. In April 2019 she was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa and continued as a Professional Assistant at Lombard Muller & Partners Inc. Alicia’s dedication and determination has led her to being admitted as a Notary and a Conveyancer in 2020 and 2021, respectively. In August 2021 she joined our Conveyancing team, where she has been closely working with Leonora Swart to further develop and maintain an exceptional Conveyancing Department
